Instructor-led discussion or hands-on review of EMS skills at the BLS/ALS level appropriate to crew certification. Officer selects focus. Topics that fit this sheet include: patient assessment (primary / secondary, MOI / NOI, OPQRST, SAMPLE), CPR / AED / high-performance CPR (pit crew model), airway management (OPA, NPA, BVM, suction, supraglottic airway), oxygen therapy (NRB, NC, BVM), trauma care (bleeding control — TQ, wound packing, pressure; spinal motion restriction, splinting, burns), medical (chest pain, stroke — Cincinnati / FAST-ED, seizure, diabetic, OD — naloxone, anaphylaxis — epi-pen, sepsis), pediatric considerations, OB emergencies, mass casualty triage (START / SALT), patient packaging and lifting, and special populations (geriatric, bariatric, pediatric).
