Instructor-led discussion and walk-through covering hoseline selection, deployment, and fire attack tactics. Officer selects the focus for this session and documents it below. Topics that fit this sheet include: hoseline selection (1¾" vs 2½" vs blitz), preconnect deployment, stretch estimation, hose loads (minuteman, flat, triple-layer, accordion), nozzle selection and stream patterns (smooth bore vs combination, GPM/NP), transitional vs offensive vs defensive attack, door control and flow paths, hoseline advancement on stairs / through doorways, kinks and pressure management, dual-line and backup line ops, blitz attack from bumper turret, exposure protection, and master stream considerations.
