Instructor-led familiarization and hands-on skills training on the 3M Scott RIT-PAK Fast Attack portable air supply. Covers the unit's purpose and single-user limitation; exterior, interior, and facepiece components; specifications, parts, and required inspection and maintenance; the low-pressure (ball handle) and high-pressure (T-handle) controls and the illuminated pressure gauge; and the four methods of delivering emergency air to a downed firefighter — UAC high-pressure transfer, low-pressure buddy-breather, regulator change-out, and facepiece replacement — followed by packaging the firefighter with the RIT-PAK for removal. A companion interactive slide deck is hosted at ritpak.pcfdmembers.org; it may be projected for the classroom portion. Reference: NFPA 1407, NFPA 1500, NFPA 1981, IFSTA Essentials (SCBA and RIT chapters), and the manufacturer's 3M Scott RIT-PAK Fast Attack operating instructions. Document the specific components identified and the air-transfer methods performed.

1. Identify the exterior, interior, and facepiece components of the 3M Scott RIT-PAK Fast Attack.
2. State the unit's specifications, capabilities, and single-user limitation.
3. Perform the required daily and post-use inspection and maintenance.
4. Distinguish the low-pressure (ball handle) and high-pressure (T-handle) controls and read the illuminated gauge.
5. Establish emergency air to a downed firefighter using UAC high-pressure transfer.
6. Establish emergency air using the low-pressure buddy-breather and by regulator change-out.
7. Perform a RIT-PAK facepiece replacement on a downed firefighter.
8. Package a downed firefighter with the RIT-PAK to facilitate removal.
