Topics that fit this sheet include: rope rescue (knots, anchors, mechanical advantage, low-angle, high-angle), confined space rescue (atmospheric monitoring, IDLH recognition, retrieval systems, OSHA 1910.146), trench rescue (shoring panels, struts, lip protection, OSHA 1926), structural collapse (light, medium, heavy frame, void search, marking system), machinery rescue (lockout/tagout, disentanglement), elevator rescue, water/swift water (PFD, throw bag, shore-based rescue, NFPA 1006/1670), and ice rescue. Cover scene size-up, recognition of capability vs limitation, request for technical resources. Reference: NFPA 1006, NFPA 1670, OSHA standards. Document specific discipline and topic.
