Instructor-led discussion of water supply establishment and hydrant operations. Officer selects focus. Topics that fit this sheet include: forward lay, reverse lay, split lay, dry hydrant ops, drafting from static source (pond, pool, creek, cistern), tanker shuttle / water relay operations, hydrant flow testing and color coding (NFPA 291), residual / static / flowing pressure, hydrant wrenches and gate valves, soft sleeve vs LDH supply, friction loss in supply lines, parallel and Siamese supply, fill site operations, dump site operations, and rural water supply ops.
