Full-scale hands-on facility training (3-6 hours, often 4-5) integrating multiple disciplines into a single scenario with multiple apparatus and a command structure. Officer / Training Division designs scenario. Possible scenarios include: residential structure fire with rescue (Engine + Truck + Squad + Battalion), commercial structure fire with standpipe and high-rise pack, MVA with extrication and transport, mass casualty incident with triage and transport, hazmat release with rescue, structure collapse with multi-team operations, and simulated mayday during fireground operations. Scenarios run start-to-finish: dispatch, response, on-scene size-up and command, full operations, overhaul, on-scene termination, and full PIA / AAR. Reference: NFPA 1410, NFPA 1500, NFPA 1561. Document agencies, units, evolutions, and lessons learned.

  1. 1. Establish and transfer command per ICS.
  2. 2. Complete primary tactical priorities (Life-Safety, Incident Stabilization, Property Conservation).
  3. 3. Demonstrate effective inter-company communication and accountability.
  4. 4. Identify and correct safety issues throughout the scenario.
  5. 5. Conduct full PIA / AAR and document for department records.
