Hands-on, job-related physical fitness evolution conducted under the department's occupational safety, health, and wellness program (NFPA 1500). NFPA 1500 requires members to develop and maintain the physical capacity to perform essential firefighting tasks; this evolution trains and documents that functional fitness on the drill/training ground. Run as a circuit or timed evolution in full PPE/SCBA where appropriate. Stations may include: charged hose-line advance and drag, ground-ladder carry and raise, high-rise pack / stair climb, equipment and tool carry, forcible-entry (Keiser) sled, victim drag/rescue dummy, and SCBA-on air-management work.
