Full SCBA (multiple bottles), maze prop, blacked-out masks, obstacles

Full-scale hands-on facility training (3-6 hours) covering SCBA confidence, profile reduction, entanglement, and air management evolutions. Officer selects evolutions. Possible evolutions include: SCBA maze / confidence course, reduced-profile through narrow openings (e.g., 14" stud bay, fence rail), wire entanglement extrication, SCBA emergency procedures (regulator failure, low pressure alarm, buddy breathing / EBSS), Air Management Drill (point-of-no-return calculation under work), don / doff drills under stress, and full structure work-cycle to bottle change. Each evolution includes pre-brief, demo, full evolution, AAR, and reset. Reference: NFPA 1404, NFPA 1500, NFPA 1981. Document evolutions, average air consumption rates, and findings.

  1. 1. Complete maze / confidence course within target time.
  2. 2. Demonstrate reduced-profile and entanglement skills.
  3. 3. Demonstrate emergency air procedures.
  4. 4. Calculate and apply air management rule of thumb.
  5. 5. Conduct AAR and identify improvements.
