Full-scale hands-on facility training (3-6 hours) covering one or more technical rescue disciplines at Operations or Technician level. Officer selects discipline. Possible evolutions include: low-angle rope rescue with litter, high-angle rope rescue (lower and raise with mechanical advantage), confined space entry with retrieval / SCBA / monitoring (OSHA 1910.146), trench rescue with shoring panels and struts (OSHA 1926), structural collapse void search and shoring, machinery rescue with lockout/tagout, water rescue (shore-based and boat where capability exists), and ice rescue.
