Full-scale hands-on facility training (3-6 hours) covering ventilation evolutions. Officer selects evolutions. Possible evolutions include: vertical ventilation cuts on roof prop or acquired structure (4x4, 7x9, louver, trench cut), sounding the roof, walking with the rafters, horizontal ventilation (window vent from ground and from ladder), positive pressure ventilation setup (placement of fan, doorway sizing, makeup air), positive pressure attack (PPA) in coordination with attack crew, hydraulic ventilation with fog stream, and basement / attic / high-rise ventilation considerations. Each evolution includes pre-brief, walk-through, full evolution with PPE/air, AAR, and reset. Reference: NFPA 1001, NFPA 1410, IFSTA Essentials. Document evolutions and any issues.
