Instructor-facilitated interactive course delivered on the PCFD Training platform at peach-sizeup.pcfdmembers.org. Each member signs in individually — progress, answers, and drill scores are recorded for the Training Division. The course covers 10 modules: the aggressive size-up mindset, the exterior read using the BOSLP framework (Building, Occupancy, Smoke/fire, Life hazard, Plan), initial radio reports with voice-to-text auto-graded drills, first-line placement and search priority using the Life-Fire-Layout filter, the 360 and rear read with control points, smoke reading tied to tactical decisions, flow path and door control per NFPA 1700 and FSRI research, a branching dynamic scenario block with auto-critique, a role-based drill (officer, nozzle, search, door control), and a scored after-action review. Reference: NFPA 1700, NFPA 1021, FSRI/UL fire dynamics studies, IFSTA Essentials. Document module scores in the AAR.

  1. Apply the BOSLP framework to complete an exterior read of a structure fire scenario.
  2. Deliver a complete initial radio report that passes the platform voice-drill grading rubric.
  3. Select first-line placement and search priority using the Life-Fire-Layout filter.
  4. Explain flow path and door control decisions using NFPA 1700 / FSRI fire dynamics research.
  5. Complete all 10 modules with recorded scores and participate in the after-action review.
